What this microphone does and who will use it

The MRSDY V5-P is a corded USB condenser microphone with a unidirectional polar pattern and 130 decibels sensitivity. It connects to PC, Mac, PS4 or PS5 without drivers and includes a 78 inch cable, a tabletop stand and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for zero-latency monitoring. Streamers, podcasters and gamers who want plug-and-play capture with hardware mute and gain controls will find it ready to record.

Check your setup before ordering

You need a free USB-A port on the host device and a 3-pole TRS or 4-pole TRRS headset if you plan to monitor through the built-in jack. The microphone draws power from the USB connection, so no external supply is required. Desk space for the 3.54 inch diameter base should be available, and the 6.3 inch height must fit under any overhead shelf or monitor arm you use.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The unit runs on USB bus power with no fan, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the desk. Dynamic RGB lighting can be toggled off if you prefer a darker workspace. The quick-mute button illuminates solid green when active, providing a visual cue without extra power draw. All controls are passive, leaving the host system’s power budget unchanged.
