MSI Aegis ZS2 Gaming Desktop

The MSI Aegis ZS2 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X eight-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB of video memory. It ships with 24GB of DDR3 system memory and a 1TB M.2 NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the chassis includes a 750W 80+ Gold power supply.

Suited for high-refresh gaming.

This system suits players who want a ready-to-game tower with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity plus front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C access. Buyers who require DDR5 memory modules will find the installed DDR3 configuration incompatible with their upgrade plans. The four DDR5 slots on the motherboard remain empty until DDR5 sticks are purchased separately.

RTX 5070 Ti 16GB graphics card

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti provides 16GB of dedicated video memory, which is the single specification that determines whether this desktop can handle your target resolution and texture quality in modern titles. If your workload demands more VRAM than 16GB, this graphics card will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the Aegis ZS2 need a separate graphics card to run the RTX 5070 Ti?

No, the RTX 5070 Ti is already installed and uses the 750W 80+ Gold power supply; just add a monitor and peripherals.

Can I keep my older USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse with the front and rear ports?

Yes, the four rear USB 2.0 Type-A ports and two front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

How do I confirm the 24GB DDR3 memory is running at the correct speed after setup?

Open Task Manager > Performance > Memory and verify the installed capacity shows 24GB; the system BIOS also reports the memory configuration on boot.
