MSI Open box
An LGA 1700 ATX board for 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs with four DDR5 slots up to 192 GB, two PCIe 4.0 M.2 sockets, 2.5 G LAN, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3
The MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI is an ATX board built on the Intel B760 chipset for LGA 1700 processors. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th generation Core CPUs along with Pentium Gold and Celeron models. Four DDR5 slots accept up to 192 GB of memory with XMP 3.0 profiles. Wireless connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
This board fits users who want dual‑channel DDR5, two full‑length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and a 2.5 GbE LAN port. It also provides two M.2 sockets with PCIe 4.0 x4 wiring and four SATA 6Gb/s ports. Builders requiring more than two M.2 sockets, 10 GbE networking or a smaller form factor should consider other models.
The presence of two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots is unusual for a B760 board and determines whether multi‑GPU or add‑in card layouts are possible. If a build needs only one full‑speed slot, a less expensive B760 model may suffice. If dual x16 electrical wiring is required, this board meets that requirement.

The built-in M.2 Shield FROZR covers the M.2_1 slot and can be lifted off to swap a 22110, 2280, 2260 or 2242 drive without replacing the heatsink itself.
The M.2_1 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 directly from the CPU, so the four-lane link is the hard ceiling; the Shield FROZR heatsink is designed to keep the SSD below its throttle point.
The extended PWM heatsink is passive, so it adds no fan noise; only the CPU cooler and case fans will be audible under continuous load.
