Crosshair A16 16-inch QHD+ 240Hz

The MSI Crosshair A16 is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop built around a QHD+ panel running at 240Hz. It targets players and creators who need high refresh rates and colour-accurate visuals in a portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and a 2024 Office licence ready for work or play.

Ryzen 9 8940HX 16-core upgrade path

The 16-core Ryzen 9 8940HX reaches 5.4 GHz turbo across 32 threads, replacing older 8-core mobile chips when workloads scale beyond single-thread speed. The jump is worth it for multi-tasking streams, compile jobs or virtual machines that saturate every thread. Base clocks sit at 2.40 GHz for sustained loads.

RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7 with 64 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe

The RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7 handles 1440p gaming at high settings while the 64 GB DDR5 array feeds the CPU without paging. The 2 TB PCIe SSD holds a large library and scratch space. Memory and storage headroom stay comfortable until 4K texture packs or multi-hour 8K renders exceed the 8 GB frame buffer.
