Compact mini PC for everyday computing

The MSI Cubi 5 12M-030US is a small-form desktop built around an Intel Core i3-1215U processor with six cores and eight threads. It ships with Windows 11 Home 64-bit installed and targets students or home-office users who need a quiet, space-saving system for web browsing, document work and video playback.

8 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB NVMe storage

The single 8 GB DDR4 module runs at 2666 MHz and leaves one slot free for expansion up to 64 GB total. The 256 GB M.2 NVMe drive provides fast boot and application load times, while integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles standard display output without a discrete card.

VESA mounting and dual LAN for flexible placement

A 100x100 mm VESA mount lets the unit attach behind a monitor or under a desk, keeping surfaces clear. Two Ethernet ports — one 2.5Gbps and one 1Gbps — plus Wi-Fi 6 give reliable wired and wireless network options for cloud services and local file transfers.

Questions about this item

Will the Cubi 5 12M-030US run alongside my older DDR4 2666 MHz memory modules if I add them to the second slot?

Yes, the board has two DDR4 slots running at 2666 MHz; adding a matching 2666 MHz stick to the free slot will work in dual-channel mode.

How can I confirm the Intel UHD Graphics and 2.5 Gbps LAN are active after I set up Windows 11 Home?

Open Device Manager — the display adapter should list Intel UHD Graphics and the network adapters should show Realtek RTL8125BG-CG at 2.5 Gbps and RTL8111H at 1 Gbps.

Does the box include a VESA mounting bracket for the 100x100 mm pattern, or do I need to buy one separately?

The unit ships with a VESA mounting bracket for the 100x100 mm pattern, a 65 W power adapter and a power cord; no extra bracket purchase is required.
