Compact Intel Core i7 mini PC

The MSI Cubi 5 12M-265US is a desktop computer built for office workers and small-business teams who need a space-saving Windows 11 Pro system. Its 10-core Intel Core i7-1255U processor runs at 1.70 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache to handle everyday productivity tasks.

Pre-installed Windows 11 Pro and 16 GB DDR4

The 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz and 1 TB NVMe SSD arrive already configured, so the machine boots straight to a managed desktop without extra setup. Intel Iris Xe graphics drives up to three displays through HDMI, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 for multi-monitor workflows.

VESA mount simplifies installation

The 75x75 mm and 100x100 mm VESA pattern lets you bolt the chassis behind a monitor or under a desk using standard brackets. The 65 W power adapter connects through a single cable, and the only common issue is ensuring the mount screws match the chosen bracket depth.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR4 memory or 1 TB NVMe SSD need upgrading later?

Both components use standard form factors — DDR4 SO-DIMM slots and an M.2 NVMe drive — so they can be replaced with higher-capacity modules if workloads grow.

What limits sustained performance on the Core i7-1255U inside the 65 W power envelope?

The 65 W adapter caps total system draw; under prolonged multi-core loads the 10-core processor will throttle to stay within that thermal budget.

How loud and hot does the Cubi 5 get when running all day on Windows 11 Pro?

Its fanless-sized chassis uses a small active cooler; expect audible fan spin under load and surface temperatures that stay within Intel's 100 °C junction limit.
