MSI Cubi 5 Professional Mini Desktop i3-1215U 16GB 512GB

Compact workstation for office tasks

The MSI Cubi 5 Professional Mini Desktop ships with an Intel Core i3-1215U processor, 16GB DDR4 3200 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. Intel UHD Graphics drives up to three 4K displays through HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 and Thunderbolt 4. Two RJ45 ports and Wi-Fi 6 handle wired and wireless networking.

Check power and memory headroom

The unit draws power from a 65W external adapter; verify the AC plug suits your region before connecting. Two SODIMM slots are populated to reach 16GB, leaving no free slots unless modules are replaced; maximum supported capacity is 64GB. No 2.5-inch drive bay is present, so additional storage must use the single M.2 slot.

Steady output during long sessions

The 65W power budget and compact 4.88 x 4.88 x 2.11 inch chassis limit sustained turbo frequencies; expect clocks to settle near the 3.3 GHz base under continuous multi-threaded load. Passive airflow across the small heatsink keeps the i3-1215U within thermal limits without audible fan noise. Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth remains stable during extended file transfers.
