Cyborg 15 translucent design

The MSI Cyborg 15 B2RWEKG-293US wears a translucent black chassis that reveals internal details. Its 15.6 inch IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC colour coverage. The laptop targets gamers who want a distinctive cyberpunk aesthetic alongside mainstream 1080p performance. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed.

Thermals and power in daily use

The Intel Core 7 240H operates at a 1.80 GHz base with a 5.20 GHz turbo across six performance and four efficient cores. The GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU carries 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. Together they draw power through a shared cooling solution that keeps the 15.6 inch frame stable during extended sessions. Fan noise remains moderate at typical gaming loads.

RTX 5050 8 GB GDDR7 graphics

The dedicated GeForce RTX 5050 with 8 GB GDDR7 is the single spec that decides suitability. It delivers Blackwell architecture performance for 1080p gaming at high refresh rates. Buyers needing higher VRAM for 1440p textures or professional compute should look elsewhere. The 1 TB SSD and 16 GB system memory support the GPU without bottlenecking at this tier.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch 144 Hz panel fit a standard laptop backpack sleeve?

The 15.6 inch chassis is a common notebook size so most 15.6 inch sleeves accommodate it; measure your sleeve internal depth against the laptop depth to be certain.

Does the Intel Core 7 240H processor support the 16 GB memory at its rated speed without extra configuration?

Yes, the 16 GB ships installed and the processor memory controller handles the supported DDR speed automatically; no BIOS change is required.

Is the 1 TB SSD the only drive bay or can I add a second M.2 module later?

The specification lists a single 1 TB SSD; a second M.2 slot is not confirmed in the supplied data so assume one drive unless the service manual shows otherwise.
