Questions about this item

How often will the 1 TB HDD or 512 GB NVMe SSD need replacement under heavy daily use?

Mechanical hard drives and solid-state drives both wear over time; the 1 TB HDD may develop bad sectors after several years of constant writes while the 512 GB NVMe SSD has a finite write endurance that typically lasts many terabytes written before any cell degradation appears.

Which component hits its thermal ceiling first during extended gaming sessions?

The GTX 1070 and Core i7-6700HQ share a cooling solution; under sustained load the GPU usually reaches its thermal limit before the CPU, causing the system to throttle graphics clocks first to keep temperatures in check.

What fan noise and surface temperatures should I expect when the laptop runs all day?

With the GTX 1070 and quad-core i7 under continuous load the dual-fan cooler spins at high RPM, producing noticeable airflow noise and warming the keyboard deck and underside to levels that feel hot during prolonged touch.
