Upgrade Installation and Inspection

The manufacturer seal is opened by engineers to install the memory and storage upgrades. Each unit undergoes in-depth inspection and testing before dispatch to reduce factory defects. The upgraded RAM and SSD carry a separate one-year warranty from the upgrade provider. Original components remain under the standard one-year manufacturer warranty. Professional handling aims to ensure the customised hardware functions correctly from first boot.

Ports and Connectivity Check

Verify that your peripherals match the available ports: one HDMI 2.1 output, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, Ethernet, microphone input and audio output. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The laptop has no SD card reader and no fingerprint reader. A 720p HD webcam and 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard are built in. Confirm your power adapter uses the supplied power input connector.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 165Hz QHD+ panel is running at its native 2560 x 1600 resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and verify the resolution shows 2560 x 1600 with the refresh rate set to 165Hz; the anti-glare IPS screen will then deliver its specified 45% NTSC colour coverage.

Which accessories are included in the box and which must be purchased separately?

The laptop, its power adapter and documentation are included; the 4-zone RGB keyboard, 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are built in, so no extra peripherals are required for basic operation.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 and 1TB PCIe SSD configuration or a different capacity?

The 64GB DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD are the only capacities offered for this Katana 15 model, matching the i9-14900HX and RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 specification.
