Built for 1080p and 1440p gaming

The MSI Katana 15 pairs a 10-core Intel Core i7-13620H with an RTX 4070 laptop GPU and 8GB GDDR6 video memory. A 15.6-inch QHD panel runs at 165Hz with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Windows 11 Pro and 32GB DDR5 support demanding workloads.

Suits gamers and creators needing high refresh

Buyers who prioritise thin ultraportables or silent operation should look elsewhere; the 45W CPU and discrete GPU need active cooling. The 4-zone RGB keyboard and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity fit LAN events and streaming setups.

8GB RTX 4070 GPU decides 1440p viability

The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer determines whether modern titles hold 1440p at high settings. If your workflow needs more video memory for large textures or compute, a larger GPU tier is required.

Questions about this item

Does the 15.6 inch QHD screen support an external 4K monitor at 120 Hz?
