The MSI MAG B560M BAZOOKA fits the LGA 1200 socket and accepts 10th and 11th Gen Intel Core processors plus Pentium Gold and Celeron models. Four DDR4 slots support up to 128 GB in dual-channel mode. A single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots provide expansion room for graphics and add-in cards.

PCIe lane limits depend on the installed CPU

With an 11th Gen CPU the primary M.2 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 from the processor, while a 10th Gen CPU drops that slot to PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA. The second M.2 slot is wired through the B560 chipset. Six SATA 6Gb/s ports remain available regardless of CPU generation. The 2.5 Gbps LAN and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports deliver consistent throughput.

Steel-reinforced PCIe slot and shielded M.2

The board uses a reinforced primary PCIe slot to resist sag from heavy graphics cards. Both M.2 slots accept 2242, 2260 and 2280 devices without extra brackets. Rear I/O includes HDMI and DisplayPort for CPUs with integrated graphics, a PS/2 combo port, two USB 2.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports plus 7.1-channel audio jacks driven by the Realtek ALC897 codec.
