The MSI MEG Z590 GODLIKE uses the Intel Z590 chipset and LGA 1200 socket to support 10th Gen and 11th Gen Intel Core processors plus Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 128 GB in dual-channel mode with overclocked speeds reaching 5600 MHz. Extended ATX layout provides two PCI Express 4.0 x16 slots and one PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot for multi-GPU or add-in cards.

Connectivity bundle shifts I/O balance

Dual LAN combines an Aquantia AQC107 10 Gbps port with an Intel I225-V 2.5 Gbps port for high-throughput wired networks. Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle wireless links. Extended ATX install needs case clearance

The Extended ATX form factor requires a chassis that explicitly lists E-ATX support; standard ATX cases often block the right-edge mounting holes. Heavy VRM heatsinks can interfere with tall CPU cooler brackets, so verify cooler keep-out zones before mounting. Route the 24-pin and dual 8-pin EPS cables early — tight routing channels behind the motherboard tray make late insertion difficult. M.2 screw standoffs are pre-installed; confirm key positions match your module lengths to avoid cross-threading.
