Competitive QD-OLED gaming monitor

The MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED is a 27" WQHD gaming monitor built around a 26.5" QD-OLED panel with a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time. It targets competitive players who need the fastest motion clarity available today. The 2560 x 1440 resolution keeps GPU demands manageable while delivering 1.07B colours across 99% DCI-P3 and 98% Adobe RGB coverage.

Suited for high-refresh esports.

This display suits gamers who prioritise 360Hz fluidity and near-instant pixel response in fast-paced titles. The 178° viewing angles and anti-reflective coating help in bright rooms, while the 4-way adjustable stand supports long sessions. Users who leave fixed UI elements on screen for hours should note that OLED technology carries an inherent burn-in risk despite MSI OLED Care 2.0 mitigation.

0.03ms GtG response time at 360Hz decides the fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 0.03ms GtG response time paired with a 360Hz refresh rate. If your competitive play benefits from that level of motion clarity, this monitor matches the requirement. If your workload centres on colour-critical content creation or prolonged static images, a different panel technology may be more appropriate.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 27" 1440p 360Hz QD-OLED or a larger 4K model?

This monitor is a single 26.5" QD-OLED panel at 2560x1440 with a 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time; choose it when you want maximum motion clarity at high frame rates rather than higher pixel density.

What does the 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time actually deliver in games?

The panel refreshes 360 times per second and transitions pixels in 0.03ms GtG, so fast motion stays sharp with minimal blur or ghosting, letting you track targets cleanly in competitive shooters.

Which adaptive-sync standard does it use and what frame-rate range does it cover?

It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, providing variable refresh up to the full 360Hz with HDR tone-mapping and low-framerate compensation for tear-free, low-latency gaming.
