Business desktop for office workloads

The MSI PRO DP21 14M-897US is a compact desktop computer built around a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700 processor with 33 MB L3 cache and 28 MB L2 cache. It ships with 32 GB DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe drive running Windows 11 Pro. The system targets business users who need a ready-to-deploy PC for productivity applications without a bundled display.

Sustained performance with integrated graphics

Under continuous load the 120 W power supply feeds the CPU and Intel UHD Graphics 770 without discrete GPU overhead. The 64-bit architecture and DDR5 bandwidth support multi-threaded workflows such as spreadsheet modelling, video conferencing and light content creation. Thermal behaviour will reflect the small chassis and fixed 120 W ceiling during extended sessions.

Check display outputs and expansion needs

The unit includes wired keyboard and mouse but no monitor, so verify your screen connects via the available video ports on the integrated graphics. Confirm that the single Gigabit Ethernet port satisfies your network topology and that the 120 W supply covers any planned USB peripherals. Internal upgrade space is limited by the compact form factor.

Questions about this item

Does the 120 W power supply keep the Core i7-14700 cool during all-day workloads?

The 120 W unit is sized for the 20-core processor and integrated UHD Graphics 770; typical business loads stay within its thermal envelope.

What display connection do I need on my monitor for the Intel UHD Graphics 770?

The graphics engine drives standard video outputs; match your monitor cable to the available port on the chassis.

Will my existing DDR5 modules work if I want to expand the 32 GB already installed?

The system uses DDR5 memory; any added sticks must be DDR5 to be compatible.
