Compact business desktop with 20-core Intel Core i7-14700, 32GB DDR5 5600 RAM, 2TB NVMe storage, Intel UHD 770 graphics, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, USB-C 3.2 ports.
The MSI PRO DP21 packs an Intel Core i7-14700 processor with 20 cores and 28 threads into a compact chassis. Base clock sits at 2.1 GHz with a 5.4 GHz boost, backed by 32 GB of DDR5 5600 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, HDMI, DisplayPort, two USB-C 3.2 and two USB-A 3.2 ports are standard, plus a USB keyboard and mouse. Integrated Intel UHD 770 graphics drive up to two displays.
Moving from an 8-core or 12-core system to this 20-core i7-14700 pays off when workloads run many threads simultaneously — compile farms, multi-VM test beds, heavy spreadsheet recalculations or batch rendering. The 28 MB L2 cache keeps core-to-core traffic fast. If your daily tasks stay mostly single-threaded, the extra cores sit idle and a cheaper 8-core box delivers the same feel.
The 32 GB DDR5 5600 kit handles dozens of browser tabs, large datasets and several virtual machines without paging. The 2 TB NVMe drive stores years of project files, local databases and OS images with headroom to spare. Memory slots max out at two, so 32 GB is the ceiling. Graphics remain Intel UHD 770 — fine for office apps and dual 4K monitors, but not for 3D CAD, GPU compute or gaming.
