ATX board for 12th and 13th Gen Intel CPUs with DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 graphics slot, four M.2 sockets, 2.5 Gb LAN and Wi‑fi 6E
This ATX motherboard uses the Intel Z790 chipset and an LGA 1700 socket to support 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors. It provides four DDR5 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 192 GB and native 5600 MHz JEDEC operation. Integrated Wi-fi 6E, 2.5 Gbps LAN and a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20 Gbps port handle connectivity.
The board suits builders who want dual-channel DDR5 memory up to 6800+ MHz via XMP 3.0 and multiple fast drives. Four M.2 Key M slots and six SATA 6Gb/s ports allow RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 on both NVMe and SATA devices. Users staying with older memory types or needing legacy PCI slots should look elsewhere.
A PCIe 5.0 x16 slot wired from the CPU delivers up to 128 GB/s bandwidth for current graphics cards, while the chipset adds a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot and an extra x16-sized slot at x1 speed. Extended heatsinks and M.2 Shield FROZR cooling keep the VRM and storage thermals in check, and the pre-installed I/O shield speeds up assembly.

The board requires DDR5 DIMMs; JEDEC 5600 MHz 1R modules work out of the box, while XMP 3.0 kits can reach 6800+ MHz in a single-slot-per-channel layout.
Yes, the primary PCI_E1 slot is wired for PCIe 5.0 x16 from the CPU and is fully backward-compatible with PCIe 4.0 cards at their native x16 bandwidth.
In Windows Device Manager the Intel 2.5Gbps controller and Wi-Fi 6E adapter appear without error codes, and a speed test shows up to 2400 Mbps wireless throughput on a 6 GHz network.
