Thin 15 Ryzen 5 7535HS gaming laptop

The MSI Thin 15 combines a 15.6 inch Full HD 144Hz display with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor running at 2.3 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost across 6 cores and 12 threads. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 with 6 GB GDDR6 handles graphics. The system ships with 64 GB DDR5 memory and a 4 TB PCIe SSD, targeting gamers and creators who need high refresh visuals and large fast storage in a 4.10 pound chassis.

Factory opened upgrade installation

The original seal is opened by engineers to install the 64 GB DDR5 memory and 4 TB PCIe SSD before shipment. This means the laptop arrives with the upgrades already validated and tested. The only installation a buyer performs is standard peripheral connection via the 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port with DisplayPort 1.4 and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. No internal hardware work is required.

Sustained load thermal behaviour

The 0.85 inch thin profile and 4.10 pound weight constrain cooling capacity during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The Ryzen 5 7535HS and RTX 4050 will manage thermals through clock scaling rather than sustained peak frequencies. MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 maintain connectivity while the backlit keyboard remains usable. Expect performance to settle at levels the compact chassis can dissipate continuously.
