Ready-to-game laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15 ships with Windows 11 Home installed and a 144Hz 15.6" 1920 x 1080 panel. An Intel Core i7-13650HX 14-core processor and RTX 5050 8GB GDDR7 graphics drive modern titles at high frame rates. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD handle multitasking and game libraries without extra configuration.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your existing peripherals use USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort alt-mode or HDMI 2.1 for external displays. The Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 2x2 and Bluetooth 5.2 modules require a 5 GHz router and compatible accessories for full throughput. No SD card reader is present, so plan an alternative for camera media.

Build integration

The gray chassis measures 14.17 x 10.19 x 0.94 inches and weighs 5.28 pounds, fitting standard 15-inch sleeves and backpacks. One USB-C port supplies power delivery, video and 10Gbps data, reducing the number of cables on a desk. Three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a combo audio jack leave room for mouse, headset and external storage without a hub.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a power adapter or display cable separately?

The laptop ships with its rectangle-plug power adapter; the single USB-C port and HDMI 2.1 output can drive external displays without extra dongles, and Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR5 configuration or plan to add more memory later?

16 GB DDR5 is soldered and not user-upgradable, so select this capacity if it meets your workload; the 512 GB PCIe SSD can be swapped for a larger drive if more storage is needed.

What does the 144 Hz 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 panel mean once the RTX 5050 8 GB GDDR7 is driving games?

The screen can refresh up to 144 times per second, so fast-paced titles show smoother motion when the GPU delivers high frame rates at 1080p.
