MSI Thin 15 15.6" 144Hz RTX 4050

The MSI Thin 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop with a 1920 x 1080 display running at 144 Hz. It uses an Intel Core i7-13620H processor with 10 cores and a 4.9 GHz turbo frequency. Graphics come from an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 video memory. The system includes 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 license are pre-installed.

Built for mobile gaming and content creation

This configuration suits users who want high frame rates on a 144 Hz panel and enough memory for multitasking or creative workloads. The 10 core CPU and RTX 4050 handle modern titles at 1080p. Buyers needing a higher resolution screen, more video memory, or a lighter chassis should consider other models.

64GB DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD

The single specification that decides fit is the 64GB DDR5 memory paired with a 1TB PCIe SSD. This capacity combination supports heavy multitasking, large project files, and extensive game libraries without immediate upgrades. If your workload demands less memory or storage, a different SKU may be more cost effective.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the laptop, charger and Windows 11 Home licence, or do I need to buy any of those separately?

The laptop, power adapter and Windows 11 Home licence are all included. No extra purchase is required for basic operation.

With a single 15.6" FHD 144Hz panel and RTX 4050 6GB graphics, is this the only display and GPU combination offered?

Yes. The model ships with one 15.6" 1920 x 1080 144 Hz screen and the GeForce RTX 4050 6GB GPU; no alternative panel or graphics option is listed.

What does the 144 Hz refresh rate actually deliver when the RTX 4050 is driving games?

The 144 Hz panel can show up to 144 frames per second, so the RTX 4050 can push high frame rates in competitive titles for smoother motion.
