Vector A18 18" QHD+ 240Hz

The MSI Vector A18 is an 18 inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX 16 core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR7 video memory. It targets users who need desktop class compute and graphics in a single portable chassis.

64GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe SSD headroom

The system ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD, providing ample space for large game libraries, heavy multitasking and content creation workloads. Memory and storage are not user upgradeable beyond this configuration so the ceiling is fixed at these capacities.

USB 4 ports and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity

Two USB 4 ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.1 support high speed external displays and peripherals while Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 deliver modern wireless throughput. An HDMI 2.1 output handles 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz for external monitors.

Questions about this item

Will the 2x USB 4 ports and HDMI 2.1 output work with my existing USB 3.2 dock and 4K 120Hz monitor?

Yes — the USB 4 ports are backward compatible with USB 3.2 devices, and the HDMI 2.1 port supports 4K at 120Hz for your monitor.

How can I verify the 240Hz panel and RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 are active after setup?

Open Windows Display settings to confirm 2560x1600 at 240Hz, then check Device Manager or NVIDIA Control Panel to see the RTX 5080 with 16GB GDDR7 listed.

Does the box include a power adapter and are the 64GB DDR5 and 4TB PCIe SSD already installed?

The laptop ships with its power adapter, and both the 64GB DDR5 memory and 4TB PCIe SSD come pre-installed — no separate purchase needed.
