Vector A18 HX gaming laptop

The MSI Vector A18 HX is an 18 inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The system runs Windows 11 Home and includes a fingerprint reader for secure login.

Sustained performance profile

The 18 inch QHD+ panel operates at a 240 Hz refresh rate with 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage for colour-critical work. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) wireless provides high throughput for large file transfers and streaming. The chassis is finished in Cosmo Gray and features a full-size backlit keyboard.

Deciding specification

The single specification that determines suitability is the GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, which dictates the graphics tier for gaming and creative workloads. Buyers who need a different GPU tier or a smaller form factor should consider other configurations.
