18-inch QHD+ 240Hz gaming laptop

The MSI Vector A18 HX pairs an 18-inch QHD+ panel at 240Hz with an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX 16-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 license are pre-installed.

Check power, ports and cooling expectations

The system draws power through USB 4 ports that support DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.1. Verify your dock or charger matches that standard. Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 and a combo audio jack cover legacy peripherals. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless connectivity.

Replaces older 16-core mobile workstations

The jump is worthwhile when you need the 2560 x 1600 240Hz 100% DCI-P3 IPS-level display, the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 graphics and 64GB DDR5 in a single chassis. The 15.91 x 12.09 x 1.26 inch form factor at 7.94 pounds stays portable for an 18-inch class machine.
