Purpose-built for STEM workflows

The MSI Vector GP68 HX 13V is a 16.0 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-13700H processor running at 3.70 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of total RAM and a 1 TB SSD, targeting engineers, researchers and students who need reliable mobile compute for simulation, coding and data analysis. The Cosmo Gray chassis houses a Full HD Plus display at 1900 x 1200 and runs Windows 11 Home on an Intel HM770 chipset.

Installation and common pitfalls

As a sealed notebook there are no user-installable components to configure, so the device is ready to use once powered on. Buyers should verify that the single HDMI output and integrated graphics meet their external-display requirements before purchase. The fixed 16 GB memory cannot be upgraded later, and the integrated GPU limits 3D rendering and GPU-accelerated workloads.

Deciding specification

The integrated graphics subsystem is the single factor that determines suitability; workloads requiring discrete GPU acceleration will not run adequately on this machine.

How can I confirm the 1900 x 1200 panel is running at its native resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display settings and verify the recommended resolution reads 1900 x 1200; the Intel graphics driver will also report the panel’s native timing.

What accessories are included and what must I purchase separately for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD configuration?

The box contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation; no extra memory modules or storage drives are needed because 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD are already installed.

Which model should I choose if I need the i7-13700H processor with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage?

Select the VECTOR68HX13054 — it is the only version listed with the i7-13700H at 3.70 GHz, 16 GB total RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
