Premium Trombone Lubricant 2 oz

This 2 oz bottle of MusicNomad Premium Trombone T-Slide Lubricant serves brass players who need reliable slide action. The petroleum-free formula blends water, synthetic oil, polytetrafluoroethylene and silicone with anti-corrosion ingredients and microbiostat preservatives. It is made in the USA and the bottle is recyclable.

Practical limits of the emulsion formula

The water-and-synthetic-oil emulsion resists buildup during extended playing sessions. Anti-corrosion agents protect inner slide surfaces while the microbiostat preservatives inhibit microbial growth inside the container. The lubricant stays effective without gumming, so the slide remains responsive over long periods.

Installing and common issues

Apply a small amount to clean inner slide tubes, then work the outer slide to distribute the emulsion evenly. Over-application can cause excess fluid to drip; wipe away any surplus before playing. If the slide feels sluggish, re-clean the tubes and apply a thinner layer rather than adding more product.

Questions about this item

How do I know the 2 oz bottle is the right size for my trombone slide?

The 2 oz bottle measures 1.38 inches square by 4 inches tall and weighs 0.07 kilograms, giving a compact, portable supply that fits easily in a case pocket.

What does the petroleum‑free, water‑based emulsion actually do on the slide?

The synthetic oil and PTFE blend creates a long‑lasting, smooth film that reduces friction without buildup, while anti‑corrosion agents and a microbiostat preservative protect the inner tubes.

Is the dropper tip compatible with standard trombone slide receivers?

The bottle’s narrow nozzle dispenses controlled drops directly onto the inner slide tubes, matching the typical receiver openings found on most trombones.
