Distributes component video and audio to 16 ports over Cat 5 up to 1000 ft with ground-loop isolation
The MuxLab 500252 routes one component video source with audio to sixteen destinations. It serves installers who need reliable YPbPr or RGB distribution across classrooms, boardrooms or digital-signage networks.
Each port uses an RJ45 connector for source input, looping output and distribution outputs, so standard Cat 5 cable carries video and audio together. Ground-loop isolation on every port prevents hum, yet the hub cannot convert signal formats or amplify degraded sources.
Component video at 480i or 480p reaches 1000 feet, while 720p and 1080i stop at 500 feet; analog audio extends to 3250 feet. Runs beyond those distances lose picture integrity, and the unit does not support higher resolutions or fibre extension.

Connect a 1080i component source to the RJ45S input, run Cat 5 to each of the 16 distribution outputs, and verify a stable picture at up to 500 ft (152 m) with no ground-loop hum on any port.
The unit includes the 16-port hub with RJ45S connectors for input, loop output and 16 distribution outputs; you must supply Cat 5 cable for runs up to 1000 ft (305 m) for 480i/p and a 110 V power source.
The 500252 is the 16-port version, providing 16 distribution outputs over Cat 5 for component video and digital or analog audio to 16 destinations.
