Ryzen 5 5500 desktop for 1080p gaming

This MXZ system pairs a six-core Ryzen 5 5500 processor running at 3.6 GHz with a GTX 1660S graphics card and 16 GB of DDR4 3200 memory. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on a 500 GB NVME drive. The chassis includes multiple RGB fans, a window side panel and a PCI-E WIFI adapter.

Suits 1080p players who want a ready-built tower

The 12-thread CPU and 6 GB GPU combination handles popular online titles and mid-range single-player games at high settings. Buyers who need more storage for large libraries or who want higher frame rates at 1440p should look at a different configuration.

500 GB NVME drive and 16 GB DDR4 headroom

The solid-state drive boots Windows 11 Pro quickly and holds a modest game selection before space runs out. Sixteen gigabytes of memory covers current gaming and multitasking, while the 450 W 80+ power supply supports the installed components without extra headroom for major upgrades.

Questions about this item

Does the Ryzen 5 5500 require a separate graphics card or does the GTX 1660S handle display output?

The GTX 1660S 6 GB provides all video outputs; the Ryzen 5 5500 has no integrated graphics, so the discrete card must be used for any monitor connection.

Can I keep my existing DDR4 3200 MHz memory and add it to the two 8 GB modules already installed?

The board runs DDR4 at 3200 MHz with two occupied slots; additional sticks must match that speed and voltage, and total capacity cannot exceed the motherboard's maximum.

How do I confirm the 500 GB NVME drive is recognised and set as the Windows 11 Pro boot device?

Open Settings > System > Storage to see the 500 GB NVME listed as the primary drive, and check BIOS boot order shows it first.
