Compatible Onn Tablet Models

This AC adapter is built for the Onn 10.1 inch model 100002435 and the 11.6 inch 2-in-1 model 100005693. It supplies 12 volts at 2 amps for a total of 24 watts. The unit carries FCC, RoHS and UL certifications.

Replacing the Original Charger

The adapter accepts 100 to 240 volts AC input with a US standard plug, making it a direct substitute for a lost or damaged factory charger. Double insulation and a heavy-duty cable improve durability over thinner original leads. The 6.5 foot cable length adds placement flexibility.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The 24 watt output is regulated for continuous delivery rather than short peaks. Double insulation helps maintain stable temperatures during extended charging sessions. Certified components and the robust cable construction support reliable long-term use without performance drop-off.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter include a US-standard plug for wall mounting?

Yes, the unit ships with a US-standard plug and a 6.5 ft cable, so it reaches most outlets without an extension lead.

Is there a specific sequence for connecting the barrel tip to the Onn 100002435 tablet?

Plug the barrel connector into the tablet first, then insert the wall plug into the mains socket; reversing the order can cause a brief spark at the tip.

How often should the 6.5 ft cable be inspected for wear?

Check the cable every few months for fraying or kinks, especially near the barrel connector and the strain relief at the adapter body.
