135 W AC Adapter for Acer Gaming Laptops

This 135 W power adapter delivers 19 V at 7.1 A through a 5.5 mm by 1.7 mm barrel connector. It accepts 100-240 V input at 1.5 A and 50-60 Hz. The package includes the adapter and an AC power cable. It is a new replacement unit built for compatible Acer notebooks.

Suits owners of listed Nitro.

Buyers whose laptop requires a different voltage, amperage or connector size should look elsewhere. Units needing more than 135 W or a USB-C power input cannot use this adapter. The fixed barrel tip limits use to devices with a matching 5.5 mm outer and 1.7 mm inner diameter jack.

19 V 7.1 A output with 5.5 mm x 1.7 mm barrel

The single specification that decides fit is the 19 V 7.1 A output combined with the 5.5 mm outer and 1.7 mm inner connector dimensions. Match both the electrical ratings and the physical plug to the laptop's power port before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 135W 19V 7.1A adapter get when it runs continuously all day?

The unit has no built-in fan and relies on passive cooling; normal warmth is expected under full 135W load, but it stays silent because there are no moving parts.

What must I already own to use this 5.5mm outer, 1.7mm inner barrel connector on my laptop?

You need a compatible Acer model such as the Nitro 5 AN515-51, AN515-52, AN515-53, AN515-54, AN515-55, AN517-51, Aspire VX 15 VX5-591G, Aspire 7 A715-71G, Predator Helios 300 PH315-51 or ConceptD 3 CN315-71P that accepts a 19V 7.1A barrel jack.

Will this 135W 19V adapter work alongside the original 135W charger I still have for my older Nitro 5 AN515-41?

Yes — both supply identical 19V 7.1A output with the same 5.5mm by 1.7mm tip, so either can power the laptop without any change in behaviour.
