2000W ATX power supply for mining rigs

This 2000W ATX power supply is built for mining rigs that run 6 to 8 graphics cards. It carries 80 Plus Platinum certification and delivers up to 95% efficiency to lower running costs. A 140mm dual ball-bearing fan moves high airflow while keeping noise low. The unit supports universal AC input from 180 to 264V.

Before ordering check your motherboard

The unit provides one 8-pin CPU connector, three 8-pin plus three 6-pin GPU connectors, nine SATA ports and nine D-type connectors. Verify that your motherboard and each graphics card match these exact connectors before connecting. The supplier warns that mixing GPU and CPU cables will cause a short circuit. Ensure your chassis can accommodate a 2.0kg ATX unit.

Sustained load behaviour with Platinum efficiency

At continuous loads the Platinum-rated design maintains up to 95% efficiency, reducing waste heat during long mining sessions. The 140mm dual ball-bearing fan sustains airflow without the noise spikes seen in smaller fans. Active PFC and magnetic-amplifier circuitry stabilise output across the 180-264V input range. Full copper output wiring and EMC shielding resist electromagnetic interference under heavy, prolonged draw.

Questions about this item

Does the box include all cables for six to eight GPUs or must I buy extra GPU power leads?

The unit ships with three 8-pin and three 6-pin GPU connectors already attached so no separate GPU cables are required.

Should I pick the 1800 W or 2000 W rating for an eight-card mining rig?

The supply is rated at 2000 W continuous output with 95 % efficiency at 80 Plus Platinum so the higher figure covers peak GPU loads.

What does the 95 % efficiency rating mean when the PSU is running a full mining load?

At typical load the unit draws roughly 5 % less power from the wall than it delivers to the components cutting electricity cost and heat.
