TFX form-factor 275 W unit with 20+4 pin, 4-pin CPU, 3× Molex, floppy and 3× SATA connectors, 80 mm double-ball-bearing fan, 100/240 V input
This TFX form-factor power supply delivers 275 watts and is built as a direct replacement for the HP Compaq Presario CQ4000KL. It suits owners of that slimline desktop who need to restore reliable power after a failure or who want a fresh unit for continued use. The 20+4 pin motherboard connector, 4-pin CPU connector, three Molex, one floppy and three SATA connectors cover the internal devices found in the original chassis.
The unit fits the existing TFX cavity and uses the same screw pattern, so installation follows the normal slimline procedure: remove the side panel, unplug the old cables, swap the unit and reconnect. The 80 mm double ball-bearing fan provides active airflow; the most common issue is forgetting to seat the 4-pin CPU plug or leaving a SATA connector loose, which will prevent boot or drive detection.
Before ordering, confirm the original power supply is rated 200, 250, 300 or 350 watts and that the case accepts a TFX enclosure. Verify the motherboard uses a 20+4 pin main connector and a 4-pin CPU power header, and count the SATA, Molex and floppy devices you plan to power. The input range is 100 to 240 volts, so mains compatibility is broad.

The 80mm double ball-bearing fan should spin steadily and the system should boot without shutdowns under load, confirming the 275W output is stable.
Included are a 20+4 pin motherboard connector, a 4-pin CPU connector, three Molex, one floppy and three SATA leads; no extra cables are required for a standard build.
The 275W unit directly replaces the original 200, 250, 300 or 350W supply; select the 420W version only if you plan to add power-hungry components later.
