TFX form-factor unit delivering 300 W with 20+4-pin, 12 V P4, SATA, Molex and floppy connectors for listed HP Slimline models
This 300 W TFX power supply replaces the original unit in HP Slimline models including AY004AA, KY713AA, KY714AA, KY715AA, KY766AA and KY767AA. It delivers higher wattage than the factory supply to support additional internal devices. The compact TFX form factor matches the slim chassis exactly.
Builders upgrading a compatible Slimline with extra hard drives, optical drives or a low-profile expansion card will benefit from the extra power headroom. The unit is not suitable for standard ATX or micro-ATX cases that require a full-size PSU. It also cannot support high-end graphics cards that need dedicated PCIe power connectors.
The label specifies +12V1 at 9 A and +12V2 at 9 A, giving a combined 12 V capacity that limits the graphics card tier you can run. Check your GPU’s power draw against this figure before buying. The supply provides one 20+4 pin main connector, one 4-pin P4 connector, three Molex, three SATA and one floppy lead.

Align the 20-pin section with the motherboard socket and leave the extra 4 pins unplugged; the split design fits both 20-pin and 24-pin boards without adapters.
The internal 40mm ball-bearing fan is the only moving part and will wear out before the solid-state circuitry under continuous operation.
The operating ceiling is 50 °C; once the case interior reaches that temperature the supply can no longer guarantee rated output.
