TFX power supply delivering 400 W with 20+4 pin motherboard, 4-pin CPU, two Molex, floppy and two SATA connectors for Dell Inspiron 570S and 580S
This new 400 W TFX power supply replaces the original unit in Dell Inspiron 570S and 580S small-form-factor desktops. It accepts 100 to 240 V input and uses an 80 mm cooling fan. The upgrade delivers 400 W continuous output, stepping up from the factory 200, 250, 300 or 350 W ratings.
Owners of the listed Dell SFF systems who need a direct-replacement PSU with standard 20+4 pin motherboard, 4-pin CPU, two Molex, floppy and two SATA connectors will find it fits without modification. Buyers whose cases require a different form factor or who need more than two SATA power leads should look elsewhere.
The TFX physical format and the exact connector set — 20+4 pin, 4-pin CPU, two Molex, floppy and two SATA — determine whether this unit will install and power the components in the target Dell chassis.
Measured against everything we stock in ATX Desktop Power Supplies, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Fit the TFX unit into the SFF chassis, connect the 20+4 pin motherboard plug, the 4-pin CPU plug, two Molex, one floppy and two SATA cables, then ensure the 80 mm fan faces the case vent so hot air exits.
The 80 mm cooling fan is the only moving part; clean dust from its blades and the heatsink periodically, and replace the fan if it becomes noisy or stops spinning.
The 400 W continuous output ceiling is reached before the 420 W peak rating, so sustained draws above 400 W will trigger protection shutdown.
