myVolts 400W TFX PSU for HP Slimline

This TFX form-factor power supply delivers 400 W of continuous power for HP Pavilion Slimline s5304y and s5305z CTO desktops. It replaces factory units rated from 200 W up to 350 W, giving builders extra headroom for additional drives or expansion cards. The unit accepts 100 to 240 V input for worldwide use.

Connectors included for drives and motherboard

The bundle provides a 20+4 pin ATX motherboard connector, a 4-pin CPU power plug, two Molex leads, a floppy connector and two SATA power cables. These cables let you attach legacy peripherals and modern SATA storage in a single installation. No extra adapters are required for the supported Slimline chassis.

Straightforward swap with 80 mm cooling fan

The power supply fits the existing TFX mounting points so installation only needs a screwdriver and cable routing. An 80 mm cooling fan handles airflow without additional configuration. Builders needing more than 420 W peak or proprietary HP wiring not listed should verify compatibility before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 80 mm fan need replacement after continuous use?

The 80 mm fan is the only moving part; under normal conditions it runs for years before bearing wear requires a swap.

Does the 400 W rating hold during extended loads or does it throttle lower?

The unit is rated for 400 W continuous output; sustained loads at that level stay within spec without automatic derating.

How much heat and noise does the 80 mm fan produce when the PSU runs all day?

The single 80 mm fan moves enough air to keep temperatures safe at 400 W, producing a low hum typical for TFX supplies.
