What this adapter powers

This 5 V 3 A AC/DC adapter supplies 12 W to 12.5 W for iView convertible PCs with 11.6", 13.3" or 14.1" screens. It matches the Maximus II, Maximus III, Megatron II, Ultima and 1330NB models. The unit accepts 100–240 VAC at 50/60 Hz for worldwide mains use.

Check before ordering

Confirm your device requires a 5 V 3.0 A DC input; the 12 V version will not work. Verify the model name against Maximus II, Maximus III, Megatron II, Ultima or 1330NB — Maximus 1 is not supported. Ensure the barrel connector fits your unit before connecting to mains power.

Protection and daily use

Built-in over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit output protection guards the laptop during charging. The switching power supply runs cool at 12 W to 12.5 W load. A standard wall-plug cable lets you charge at a desk or on the move without extra accessories.

My iView Ultima 13.3" convertible needs 5 V 3 A — is this the correct version?

Will the 12.5 W rating actually charge the 14.1" Megatron II while I am using it?

The unit delivers 5 V 3 A (12.5 W) which matches the specified requirement for the Megatron II 14.1" convertible, so it will charge during use.
