What this charger delivers

The myVolts 61W USB-C AC adapter supplies up to 61 watts of power and includes a 6.6ft USB-C to USB-C cable rated for USB 3.0 5A charging and 480Mbps data transfer. A 90° foldable plug reduces bulk when packed, and the unit weighs .37 lb. Built-in protection guards against short circuits, over-voltage and over-current.

Who this suits and who it does not

Travellers and home-office users with compatible MacBook 12 inch, MacBook Pro 13 inch or 15 inch, MacBook Air Retina 13 inch 2018 to 2020, or iPad Pro 2018 to 2021 models get a compact single-brick solution. Buyers who need more than 61W for larger laptops or who require a detachable cable with a different connector should look at other options.

The deciding specification

Maximum output is 61W; the supplier states a full charge for a MacBook Pro 15 inch reaches 100% in 1h 40mins. If your device draws more than 61W or uses a proprietary connector other than USB-C, this adapter will not meet the requirement.
