850 W 80 Plus Gold ATX Power Supply

This 850 watt ATX power supply delivers stable power through a single +12V rail with active PFC. It holds 80 Plus Gold certification, reaching over 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. Japan-made main capacitors support a hold-up time of 11.6 ms at full load. The unit suits mid-range gaming PCs and home theatre builds.

Compatibility check: ATX case space and cable needs

Verify that your chassis fits a standard ATX power supply and offers room for a 135 mm fan. Ensure your motherboard accepts the 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS connectors. Count the PCIe power connectors your graphics card requires so you attach only the modular cables you need.

Build integration: modular cabling and RGB fan

The fully modular design lets you connect only the necessary cables, reducing clutter and improving airflow. Low-profile nylon-sleeved cables simplify routing for a clean look. A 135 mm RGB fan with a honeycomb ventilation structure provides high airflow and configurable lighting. Comprehensive protections include over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, overload and over-temperature safeguards.

Questions about this item

Does the PSU ship with every cable needed for a typical build, or must I buy extra modular cables?

The unit is fully modular and includes PCI-Express power connectors, flat modular cables and a 135 mm RGB fan; only buy extra cables if your build needs more than the supplied set.

Which capacity and efficiency tier should I pick for a mid-range gaming system?

This model is an 850 W unit with 80 Plus Gold certification, delivering over 90 % efficiency at 50 % load — sized for mid-range gaming or home-theatre builds.

What does the 80 Plus Gold rating mean for daily power draw and heat?

At typical 50 % load the supply runs above 90 % efficiency, so less waste heat and lower electricity cost; the honeycomb structure and 135 mm fan keep temperatures down.
