In-car power for Saitek Mephisto Master

This 9V power adaptor connects a Saitek Mephisto Master chess computer to a vehicle supply. It replaces the original mains unit so the board can be used while travelling. The adapter plugs into a standard 12V or 24V accessory socket. It is intended for players who want a portable power source for this specific model.

Suits owners of the Mephisto Master needing mobile

Buyers who have a different chess computer or require a mains-voltage supply should look elsewhere. The cable and voltage are tailored to the Mephisto Master and will not fit other devices. Users who only play at home with a wall outlet do not need this adapter.

Handles 12V and 24V vehicle systems

The unit accepts input from both 12V car sockets and 24V campervan or caravan systems. It delivers the 9V required by the chess computer without additional converters. There is no internal battery, so the vehicle engine or leisure battery must remain connected during play.
