Compact DC-DC converter for mobile radio

The myVolts Mini Power Supply converts a vehicle DC18V-36V source into a regulated DC13.8V±0.2V output rated at 45A. It is built for operators who need to run a two-way radio from a truck or car electrical system. A metal enclosure and 80% effective rate support continuous mobile use.

Tight voltage regulation protects the radio

Output holds DC13.8V±0.2V with ripple limited to 150mVP-P, while over-voltage protection triggers at 16V±1.5V and over-current protection at 11A±1A. These thresholds decide whether the unit will shield a specific transceiver from supply spikes or load faults.

Fits tight vehicle spaces, needs DC18V-36V source

The 13 * 8.5 * 5 cm metal case mounts in constrained cab areas and weighs approximately 488g. Installation requires a DC18V-36V feed capable of supplying the load; the converter then frees the radio from its internal battery and delivers stable power for extended transmit cycles.
