Compact DC Converter for Mobile Radios

This myVolts unit steps a vehicle DC18V-36V supply down to a regulated DC13.8V±0.2V rail rated at 45A. Built-in over-voltage protection triggers at 16V±1.5V and over-current protection at 11A±1A. The metal chassis measures 13 by 8.5 by 5 cm and weighs approximately 488g.

Vehicle Installers Needing Stable 13.8V

Ideal for technicians fitting two-way radios or walkie-talkies into trucks or buses where the nominal battery voltage sits between 18V and 36V. The 80% effective rate and 150mV ripple suit narrow-band voice gear. Buyers who need a different output voltage or an AC-input supply should look elsewhere.

Fixed 13.8V Output at 45A

The single deciding specification is the locked DC13.8V±0.2V output; the converter cannot be adjusted to other voltages. If your radio requires a different rail this unit will not work.
