Expands one PCIe x1 slot into four USB 3.0 ports with ASM1184e chip and aluminium heatsink
This adapter expands a single PCI Express x1 slot into four USB 3.0 ports. It is intended for users who need additional high-speed connections for peripherals, mining risers or data-transfer devices on a desktop motherboard. The card fits x4, x8 and x16 slots as well.
A premium aluminium heatsink covers the ASM1184e controller, dissipating heat without a fan. The card draws power directly from the PCIe slot, eliminating external cables and keeping acoustic output at zero during normal operation.
Four gold-plated USB 3.0 ports are built onto the board, reducing contact resistance and signal loss. No USB cables are included in the package, so users must provide their own cables to complete each connection.

Insert the card directly into any available PCI-E x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot; no external power cable is required as the board draws power from the slot itself.
The aluminium heat sink provides passive cooling; keep the fins clear of dust so the ASM1184e controller stays within safe temperatures.
Total bandwidth is capped by the single PCI-E x1 host link, so simultaneous heavy transfers on all four ports will share that upstream pipe.
