TFX 320 W power supply replaces Dell Delta DPS-250AB-28 B units in slimline and small-form-factor desktops
This TFX power supply delivers 320 W of continuous power for Dell desktops that originally used the Delta DPS-250AB-28 B unit. It is built for small-form-factor and slimline chassis where a standard ATX supply will not fit. The 20+4 pin motherboard connector, 4-pin CPU connector, two Molex, one floppy and two SATA connectors cover the typical drives and boards found in those systems. An 80 mm fan handles cooling while the unit accepts 100 to 240 V input for worldwide use.
The TFX form factor slides directly into the narrow bays used by many Dell OptiPlex, Inspiron and Vostro models, freeing the builder from hunting for a rare proprietary unit. Its connector set supports a motherboard, processor, a pair of SATA drives, legacy Molex devices and a floppy drive if one is still present. Because the supply is rated for 320 W, it can handle a modest graphics card or extra storage without exceeding the chassis power budget.
Replacing an original 200, 250, 300 or 350 W supply with this 320 W model adds headroom for additional drives or a low-profile GPU while keeping the same TFX footprint. The jump is worthwhile when the old unit has failed, runs loud or cannot sustain load during upgrades. It will not suit systems that require a higher-wattage TFX design or proprietary Dell pin-outs beyond the Delta DPS-250AB-28 B specification.
