Limits of the wireless standard it uses

Output drops to 10 W for Samsung flagships, 7.5 W for iPhone models and 5 W for other Qi devices. A Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0 wall adapter is required to reach the higher rates; without it the stand will fall back to the lowest speed. Metal cases or any case thicker than 5 mm will block charging completely.
