Open-Ear Clip-On Design

The NANK Ultra clip-on earbuds use an open-ear architecture that leaves the ear canal unobstructed. Directional Sound Delivery 2.0 aims to minimise audio leakage while keeping ambient noise audible. Each bud weighs 5.3g and employs a C-Hook with Buckle 2.0 structure for a secure grip during vigorous movement.

Bluetooth 5.4 Range and Battery Limits

Bluetooth 5.4 provides a stable link up to 32 FT in clear conditions with reduced power draw. The case delivers 24 hours total playtime at eight hours per charge, while continuous communication time reaches 40 hours. IPX5 rating protects against sweat and rain but not submersion.

Upgrade From In-Ear or Loose-Fit Buds

These replace sealed in-ear models when situational awareness is a priority for running, cycling or commuting. They also improve on earlier clip-ons that shift during high-intensity exercise. The jump is less beneficial for users who require maximum noise isolation or deep sub-bass response.

Questions about this item

Which battery figure should I plan around — the 40-hour communication time or the 24-hour playback total?

The 40-hour figure applies to continuous calls; for music or mixed use expect up to 8 hours per charge and 24 hours total with the case.

What does the 32-foot Bluetooth 5.4 range mean once I am indoors?

The 32-foot spec is measured without obstacles; walls and interference will reduce the practical distance, but Bluetooth 5.4 still keeps the link stable at typical room distances.

How does the IPX5 rating limit where I can use the earbuds?

IPX5 protects against water jets and heavy sweat, so they are safe for rain and workouts but not for swimming or submersion.
