Extreme weather foil tape

NASHUA 330X foil tape is built for electricians and maintenance crews who need reliable sealing in harsh environments. The acrylic adhesive bonds firmly to metal ductwork and insulation jackets across a wide temperature span. It suits indoor and outdoor jobs where standard cloth or vinyl tapes fail.

50 1/4 yard roll with 3.5 mil thickness

The continuous roll delivers 50 1/4 yards of 2 13/16 inch wide foil, giving enough length for long duct runs and multiple repairs. Rated from -35 degrees to 260 degrees F, it handles freezing rooftop work and high-heat exhaust vents. The 3.5 mil foil resists tearing during application but is not designed for structural loads.

Replaces standard duct tapes that degrade

Contractors switch to this foil tape when cloth-backed products dry out, curl or lose adhesion in cold snaps or heat waves. The jump is worth it for permanent HVAC seals, vapour barriers and reflective insulation wraps. It is not for buyers who need a pressure-sensitive tape for low-temperature indoor craft projects.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mil foil tape adhere to the metal ductwork I already have installed?

The acrylic adhesive on the 330X series bonds to metal ductwork across a -35 to 260 Degrees F range, so it stays secure on existing runs through seasonal extremes.

How can I verify the tape is sealing properly once applied?

Press the 2 13/16 in wide foil firmly along the full 50 1/4 yd length; a continuous bond with no visible gaps or lifting at the edges confirms the acrylic adhesive has set correctly.

Does the roll include a dispenser or do I need a separate cutter?

The product ships as a continuous roll of foil tape only; a separate dispenser or cutting tool is required for clean, straight cuts during application.
