Provides 64 channels of 50 VDC switching with 600 mA per channel and 25 A total module current
The National Instruments 778572-67 is a PXI-2567 driver module built for automated test systems that need high-density switching. It provides 64 independent channels in a single PXI slot, making it suitable for engineers who require dense channel counts without expanding chassis space.
Each of the 64 channels can sink up to 600 mA from an external supply of up to 50 VDC, while the module as a whole is rated for 25 A total drive current. Internal rail power is limited to 5 V at 1.25 A and 12 V at 0.5 A, so loads that exceed these per-channel or per-module ratings will require external distribution.
The module occupies one PXI slot and draws its internal rail power from the chassis backplane, leaving the external 50 VDC supply to be provided by the test engineer. This arrangement frees front-panel space for high-density cabling while keeping the chassis power budget predictable. It is not suited for applications that need more than 64 channels per slot or higher per-channel current.

Yes, the module uses internal drive power of 5 V at 1.25 A and 12 V at 0.5 A from the chassis backplane.
Use the NI-SWITCH soft front panel or LabVIEW to run a channel-to-COM continuity test and verify 600 mA per channel operation.
No, the external 50 VDC power source for the 25 A total drive current must be purchased separately.
