Purpose and fit

The NavePoint 1U rack light panel fits any standard 19 inch rack or cabinet and mounts horizontally on the front or rear rails. It provides fluorescent illumination for low-lit server rooms and uses SPCC cold rolled steel for durability. Installation is a simple screw-in process that suits both new builds and existing racks.

Who this suits and who it does not

Network administrators and data-centre technicians who need a dedicated light source inside a standard 19 inch rack will find this panel fits the mounting rails without modification. Buyers who require LED technology, battery backup, motion activation or a non-fluorescent light source should consider other solutions.

Deciding specification

The fixture uses a fluorescent lamp rather than LED, which determines its power draw, colour temperature and replacement-bulb availability. Verify that fluorescent lighting meets your facility standards before purchasing.
