25-Pack CAT5E FTP Keystone Couplers

These NavePoint inline couplers join two RJ45-terminated cables to extend a run inside patch panels, surface-mount boxes or wall plates. The FTP shielding reduces EMI and RFI crosstalk on Category 5E links. Each pack supplies 25 silver units for structured-wiring projects.

Snap-In Retaining Clip for Secure Mounting

A spring-steel clip locks each coupler into any standard keystone opening without tools, giving a corrosion-resistant seat that resists vibration in rack or wall installations. The pass-through design keeps both female ports accessible from the room side for quick patching.

Verify Keystone Cut-Out and Cable Category

Confirm your panels, boxes or faceplates use the universal keystone footprint before ordering. These couplers are rated for CAT5E performance; they will not certify to higher categories such as CAT6 or CAT6A. Ensure existing cabling is also CAT5E or better to maintain link integrity.

Questions about this item

What category rating and shielding does the CAT5E FTP coupler use, and what interference does it block?

The coupler is rated Category 5E with FTP shielding that blocks EMI and RFI to prevent signal loss and crosstalk.

What keystone footprint does the silver coupler fit, and which mounting hardware accepts it?

It uses the standard keystone footprint and fits patch panels, surface-mount boxes and wall plates.

How is the coupler terminated, and what common mistake should installers avoid?

Termination is tool-free punch-down on both RJ45 ends; the common mistake is not fully seating the snap-in retaining clip, which leaves the connection loose.
