NavePoint CAT6 FTP keystone coupler

This NavePoint CAT6 FTP inline keystone coupler provides a shielded female-to-female RJ45 connection for extending Ethernet runs. It fits standard keystone patch panels, surface mount boxes and wall plates. The FTP shielding reduces signal loss and crosstalk from EMI and RFI interference. Supplied in a pack of 10 silver units.

FTP shielding and snap-in clip

The FTP construction avoids signal loss and crosstalk caused by electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. An easy snap-in retaining clip secures each coupler in a keystone opening without tools and maintains a corrosion-free connection. The pack of 10 allows multiple extensions across an office, AV installation, home or server room.

Verify keystone openings and cable type

Confirm that your patch panels, wall plates or surface mount boxes accept standard keystone jack dimensions before ordering. Ensure the existing cables are terminated with RJ45 plugs suitable for Category 6 performance. The coupler is not designed for non-keystone mounting formats or for cables that exceed the Category 6 specification.

Questions about this item

Will the keystone clip on the CAT6 FTP coupler wear out after repeated cable changes?

The easy snap-in retaining clip is designed for a secure and corrosion-free connection during normal installation.

What limits the performance of the coupler when cables are run continuously at full throughput?

The FTP shielding prevents EMI/RFI crosstalk, so the first limit is the total channel length allowed by the CAT6 standard.

Does the coupler generate any heat or noise when left in a patch panel all day?

As a passive component with no active electronics, it produces no heat and makes no noise during continuous operation.
