NavePoint CAT6 FTP Inline Keystone Coupler 15 Pack

The NavePoint CAT6 FTP inline keystone coupler joins two Ethernet cables through a single keystone opening. It suits installers extending runs in offices, server rooms, A/V racks or home networks. Each silver unit carries RJ45 female contacts on both ends and snaps into standard patch panels, surface-mount boxes and wall plates. The 15-pack quantity supports multi-drop projects without re-ordering.

Sustained-load behaviour with FTP shielding

Foil twisted-pair shielding reduces electromagnetic and radio-frequency crosstalk during continuous data streams. The coupler maintains Category 6 performance across extended runs where unshielded joints would degrade. Corrosion-resistant contacts and a positive snap-in clip keep resistance stable over time. No active electronics means zero latency or power draw under load.

Pre-install checks for keystone compatibility

Verify that your patch panels, wall plates or surface-mount boxes accept standard keystone footprints before ordering. Confirm the cable jacket diameter fits the coupler housing if you terminate on-site. Ensure the installation environment does not exceed the temperature range of the plastic housing. Buyers needing tool-less punch-down termination should note this coupler uses a pass-through design instead.

Questions about this item

Does the CAT6 FTP shielding on these couplers generate any heat or noise during continuous use?

No, the NavePoint CAT6 FTP inline keystone couplers are passive components with no active electronics, so they produce no heat or noise while running all day.

What keystone-compatible hardware must I already own to mount these 15 silver couplers?

You need standard keystone jack patch panels, surface mount boxes, or wall plates with keystone openings to snap the couplers into.

Will these CAT6 FTP couplers work reliably alongside older CAT5e or CAT5 cables I still have in the wall?

Yes, the couplers are backward compatible and will pass signals from legacy CAT5e or CAT5 cables, though the link will operate at the lower category's performance level.
